What program did you just complete?
The Tech Talent South Full-time Code Immersion Program

What past tech projects have you worked on?
I have experience working with Photoshop both in media design and photo editing.

What are your best technical or creative skills?
With a background in Photoshop design/editing, I have a proclivity to front-end design, but with the groundwork developed in the coding program, I really enjoy working with Ruby on Rails where I get to work with back-end code to bring functionality to the front-end designs.

What’s next on your list to learn?
My goal is to build on my skill set in Ruby, HTML/CSS, and Rails, but I would also really like to learn some mobile app programming

What’s your ideal internship/job?
At this point in my career, I would love a job that would allow me to grow my current skills but also to learn new things.

Interested in startups?
I am definitely interested in startups. I haven’t worked in one professionally, but I have had life experiences similar. My high school opened its doors my freshman year, so I was a part of the first football team to go through that school. We helped build the football program, starting new traditions and literally laying the sod in the practice and game fields. Similarly, my college football team came off of a two-win season before I started there. We got a new coaching staff, and by the year after I graduated, we were conference champions.

Post graduation plans?
My top priority is to find a new job. While I’m looking (and even after I’ve found one), I will be continuing to practice what I’ve learned and keep trying new things. I plan to try to find some freelance work in the meantime as well.
