Leaders from Canada, Mexico and the U.S. Are Headed To the Women in Business North America Summit

The 2016 Women in Business North America Summit attracted over 550 participants. The 2017 Summit is expecting even more.

The Women in Business North America Summit launched for the first time in Atlanta in 2016 and featured two full days of meetings, panel sessions and a mentors’ lounge at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. More than 550 participants registered and attended the Summit. The Summit’s goal is to educate and support women-owned businesses and help women entrepreneurs develop a robust network and export capacity that extends across North America!

The 2017 Summit will include:

  • Two days of workshops with senior executives rolling up their sleeves to address pre-identified challenges for women entrepreneurs in three tracks; startup, small to medium size business, and CEO/C level, including a special workshop dedicated to the Business of Women in Film and Television!
  • Each day will include a 3-hour B2B Fair, with multi-national technology companies from the U.S., Mexico and Canada and a Women to Boards activity.
  • Morning and lunch keynotes/plenary sessions on topics such as exporting, finance, women on boards and bridging the middle management to C-Suite gap.

Speakers include executives and leaders from the investor, business, nonprofit, and corporate world. Representing organizations include: Bank of America, UPS, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Valor Ventures, Moxie, Emory University, YWomen, and more!

Proceeds from the Summit will be dedicated to a foundation/fund supporting women in communities across North America.
