Women Who Code Hackathon

Amazing women from around the globe unite under one simple notion – the world of technology is much better with women in it…and we couldn’t agree more!

For 54 hours, 100+ engineers, innovators, problem solvers and designers will come together to create tech solutions that support inclusion, while driving innovation. Joining forces to bring you a Hackathon like no other, Women Who Code , WWCode Atlanta, WWCode Tampa and WWCode Greenville are bringing you a Hackathon filled with pre-hacking workshops, a career expo, a hack 101 to prep you for a fierce weekend of coding, fireside chats with industry leaders, and a happy hour to kick off the event.

Atlanta will provide all the usual trappings of a hackathon: an intense weekend of coding and MVP product development surrounded by pizza and unlimited coffee. The event will also include a special workshop day on Friday to help our participants be release-ready by Sunday!

Friday will be filled with inspirational talks including deep-dives into technology as well as an exclusive Hackathon 101.  By the end of the day all participants will be ready to hit the ground running. Friday night kicks off the official Hackathon and two days of intense product development to get ready for an amazing pitch session on Sunday evening.

Why Atlanta (For those who haven’t heard)? Atlanta, Georgia is a hotbed for techs and startups, and diversity is in the very fabric of the city. The Hackathon will be held in the heart of midtown at Tech Square Atlanta — a hub for innovation. WWCode networks from around the Southeast are coming together to make this event great!
