The inaugural 2017 SHIFT Pitch Contest, organized by creative agency for entrepreneurs Surthrive, aims to bridge the diversity gap in technology by giving women and minority entrepreneurs the opportunity to win 6-month free membership at the Atlanta Tech Village. Along with office space, the winner will receive 120K worth of Microsoft services and a marketing package, all to help grow and scale their startup company.

The Contest Details
Apply to Pitch
Apply to pitch in front of the Atlanta Tech Village Community HERE by August 4th. Requirements include:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Have raised less than $150K
- Underrepresented minority (i.e. Women, Hispanic, Native American, African-American)
- Technology-focused company
Enter People’s Choice Contest
Applicants also have the option to enter into the People’s Choice Contest, where their 60-second pitch video will be posted on social media (@SurthriveLabs). Supporters will vote by retweeting and sharing the pitch video via #SHIFT2017. The People’s Choice Award will be announced during the event.
Select Finalists
A dynamic group of judges will hand-select 5 of the best Women + Minority owned tech startups to deliver their 5 minute pitch by August 11th.
We’ve Got a Winner!
The winner receives a 6-Month free membership at Atlanta Tech Village which includes 24/7 access, advisors & mentors, free weekly lunches, hot desk, events, a fitness gym, and more. They will also receive 120K in Microsoft Azure Cloud Credits and a services prize package.
