Do you have what it takes to make it in the big leagues? Maybe not, but you sure can enjoy a fun round of trivia with your co-workers, especially if it helps out a good cause.
Notley, an Austin-based philanthropic organization, first launched Startup Games in 2012. Since its inception, Startup Games has brought companies together with team-building games that benefit charity. The games have raised over $825,000 for local communities and has been a must-attend event for companies.
Now back and rebranded under the name Catalyst Games, Notley hopes to provide a way for companies to connect and serve their community year-round. In addition to the new name, the games will come with a new structure.
The first-ever Catalyst Games National Season (The Games) will be an 8-week competition designed to engage employees, cultivate leadership skills, raise company morale, and foster trust among team members. The national season will rally teams around nonprofits creating greater access to opportunity and tackling issues like STEAM education, early childhood development, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness.
2020 has been an incredibly challenging year and more than ever, employees are asking for employers to provide opportunities to plug in to the community in timely and meaningful ways. The Games will rally companies around the country to support, volunteer and raise $50,000 for nonprofits working to expand and create new community opportunities.
