A champion for guerilla marketing and taking big risks to gain traction in a dynamic market, Tami was named the 2014 B2B Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Marketing Innovator of the Year.
A former NCAA Division 1 collegiate tennis player and All-Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete, Tami believes in the strength of collaboration and exudes passion for her career and teammates. She serves on the executive board for the Kula Project and the Global Conservation Corps, is an advocate for rhino conservation in Southern Africa, and drives the empowerment of women-led, business initiatives through mentorship programs.

Kiki Roeder is the Editor-in-Chief of Hypepotamus, the largest tech and startup news site in the Southeast. Tricia Whitlock Atlanta Startup Advocate & Writer
Tricia Whitlock is a journalist and an advocate of the Atlanta startup ecosystem. She works with Venture Atlanta, Georgia State’s entrepreneurial efforts, and many other startup-centric projects. Most recently she was the Director of Marketing at TechSquare Labs, an incubator, seed fund and 25k sf of coworking and corporate innovation space. She previously ran Hypepotamus, a publication focused on the technology and creative workplace with the goal of surfacing promising talent, supporting entrepreneurs, and highlighting innovative companies. Tricia is an organizer of the GSU StartupExchange, is a graduate of GSU (BA’10 & MPA’13), and has a background in nonprofit fundraising, event coordination, and freelance writing.
