ATL Selected for GSMA Mobile Conference

Atlanta to Host First GSMA Mobile 360 Series-North America Conference in Sept 22-23

The GSMA, organizers of Mobile World Congress (the largest annual global event in the mobile industry) has selected Atlanta as the host city for the Mobile 360 Series-North America event.

GSMA: 

  • The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide. Spanning more than 220 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators with 250 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and Internet companies, as well as organisations in industry sectors such as financial services, healthcare, media, transport and utilities.

The Event: 

  • The Mobile 360 Series thought leadership conferences are designed for senior-level executives in mobile and adjacent industries, as well as key regulatory and government representatives and offer a platform to explore the key issues specific to the region.
  • The GSMA is holding five other Mobile 360 Series events in 2014, including Mobile 360 Series-Africa, Mobile 360 Series-Europe, Mobile 360 Series-Israel, Mobile 360 Series-Middle East and Mobile 360 Series-South Korea.
  • The timing of the event coincides with the chamber’s “Mobility Live.”
