Google will celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) with its IWD Event Series.
IWD 2020 consists of 15 global summits — throughout Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Australia and Europe — throughout the month of March. These summits will recognize women in technology by featuring speakers, workshops, and the opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals.
Community, Inspiration, and Empowerment
On Saturday, March 21, Google will host IWD Atlanta: Celebrating Black Women in Tech. The Atlanta summit will feature inspiring speakers from the tech industry, interactive workshops presented by Google’s Women Techmakers program, and networking opportunities.

Speakers
Google will bring a unique mix of speakers, workshops, and activities to Atlanta that honor all of the things that celebrate black women in tech. Speakers will include feature keynote speaker Cassandra Johnson, Vice President of Consumer Hardware at Google, as well as Angela Marie Chambliss, co-founder of AngelsNTech, Google staffing specialist Ashley Gardner, and Nicole M. Jones, Global Innovation Leader at Delta Airlines.
