Getting Siggie With It: TiE Atlanta to Host The Siggie Awards

It’s time to recognize some of the unsung heroes in the Atlanta startup community.

Hosted by TiE Atlanta, in partnership with Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, The Siggie Awards recognizes early-stage investors contributing to the growth of Metro Atlanta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The “Siggies” are named after Sig Mosley, “The Godfather of Angel Investing” and Managing Partner of Mosley Ventures.  Since 1990, Mr. Mosley has been the most prolific southeast investor in 145 startups and 105 liquidity events. He is currently the record holder of the largest southeast venture deal with the $5.7 billion acquisition of Tradex by Ariba.
