The South’s Fintech scene is no longer emerging — it is maturing
Atlanta is a world capital for payments processing and other fintech companies from startup to enterprise. With a major baking ecosystem for support and the south’s only fintech-focused accelerator, Queen City Fintech, Charlotte is also doubling down on the industry.
This all comes together at Fintech Generations, one of the largest fintech conferences outside of New York City and San Francisco. Presented by Carolina Fintech Hub and Oracle, the premier fintech event will take place in Charlotte, June 13.
Fintech Generations will feature some of the top speakers from around the world addressing emerging fintech topics, and showcase what is happening in one of the world’s most dynamic regions in fintech innovation.
The capstone event of Fintech Generations will be Demo Day for Queen City Fintech’s Class 8.
Jim Marous and Colleen Taylor will present this year’s keynote addresses
International recognized financial industry strategist Jim Marous is co-publisher of The Financial Brand and the owner and publisher of the Digital Banking Report. Named as one of the most influential people in banking and a top five Fintech influencer to follow, Marous is an internationally recognized financial industry strategist.
Colleen Taylor is the Executive Vice President of New Payments at Mastercard. She has held positions at Wachovia Bank/Wells Fargo and J.P. Morgan in the U.S. and the UK. Colleen joined Mastercard from Capital One, where she most recently served as head of Treasury Management and Enterprise Payments. She was also the Market President for Brooklyn & Queens.
