DGM Camp to Teach Tech Tools to Dominate Digital Marketing

If you work in the Atlanta tech scene, and casually inquire about digital marketing, undoubtedly, you will hear, “You should connect with Kevin Sandlin.” Bouncing between the Atlanta Tech Village, where he serves as a mentor and oversees the weekly pitch practice, and General Assembly, home to his part-time course in digital marketing, Sandlin is a busy digital doyen. His love for connectivity and learning energizes him to curate daily posts on the popular Atlanta Tech Blogs, and now offer the “most intense, immersive, hands-on week of digital marketing technology you’ll ever experience.”

The DGM Camp kicks into gear April 25-29. The weeklong course will help new and experienced digital marketing technologists gain all the necessary tools to transform their professional proficiencies. DGM Camp will teach:

  • Google Analytics, including campaign tracking, dashboards to smart goals, and social tracking;
  • Marketing Technology Tools, such as Unbounce, MailChimp, WordPress, Adwords, Hubspot, and more;
  • Socia Media Marketing and Advertising, encompassing best strategies to create highly targeted ads on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn; and
  • Email Marketing, offering techniques to integrate websites and CRM with MailChimp and Zapier.

“Students will spend 50 hours using the tools that marketing technologists use every day,” said Sandlin. “Atlanta is known for creating marketing technology. DGM Camp aims to make Atlanta known for marketing technologists. We’re investing in training up the next generation of great tech-savvy marketers.”
