The Points of Light Civic Accelerator (CivicX) is now seeking applications for the Spring 2017 Civic Accelerator program! This 10-week entrepreneur boot camp and investment fund supports the most promising civic ventures supporting solutions to the following challenge:
How might we accelerate the financial well-being and economic mobility of underserved populations?
CivicX is the first national accelerator program and investment fund in the country focused on “civic ventures” — for-profit and nonprofit early stage ventures that include people as part of the solution to critical social problems. The boot camp-style program convenes 10-15 teams in person and online with the goal of equipping each venture to seek investments and scale their social innovation. The Spring Civic Accelerator will run from April – June 2017 and includes 3, 4-day intensive workshops in Atlanta, New York, and Seattle.
Applicants can be early stage for-profit or nonprofit ventures with innovative solutions to increasing financial well-being and economic mobility for underserved populations. Applications are due Thursday, March 2 at 5:00pm EST. Learn more and apply here!
