The Atlanta Technology Angels are hosting an ARI Advanced Workshop on Valuation of Early-Stage Companies at the Georgian Club later this month. This half-day class on valuation was developed by the Angel Resource Institute, and provides investors and entrepreneurs multiple tools to effectively negotiate this often preliminary stumbling block. Expect to learn the Venture Capital Method (VCM), Scorecard Method, and Risk Factor Summation Model.
The curriculum was developed by the Kauffman Foundation and the session will be led by John May (bio below), a world-renowned and widely published expert in angel financing. Each participant will receive a customized workbook that includes presentation content, slides and exercise worksheets.
