Pitch Circus will showcase Georgia’s best and most fundable tech startups
The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), the state of Georgia’s technology incubator, is sponsoring a Pitch Circus Feb. 2, 2018 during Geekend 2018 in Savannah, GA. Weekend is a two-day conference held annually since 2009 — it aims to establish Savannah as a hub for innovation, tech, and creative industries and raise awareness among the global tech community about what Savannah has to offer.
The Pitch Circus will highlight the best technology startups from Georgia in an event where they will meet and pitch to investors, according to ATDC’s Savannah-based startup catalyst José Mallabo. “Through this event, we are looking to serve as catalysts in creating meaningful connections for both our startup participants and investors,” Mallabo said.
ATDC entrepreneurs in residence will provide the companies pitching with preparation and coaching. Founders and CEOs will pitch to judges in front of angel investors and conference attendees from throughout the region. Each company will be given 6 minutes for their presentation, followed by a Q&A session from the judges.
Applications are due Jan. 4, 2018. Interested applicants, apply here. Selected entrants will be contacted with next steps.
Judges and prizes to be announced soon.
