A Lean Mean, Cleanup Machine: Community Bucket Kicks Off ‘Tech Gives Back’ By Going Green

Spring has officially arrived. So grab your sunblock and Alavert, because our friends at Community Bucket (CB) are heading outside to care for the loving mom we all share: Mother Earth.

Although April 22 is the world’s largest environmental movement (National Earth Day), Community Bucket is celebrating clean air, water, and land, with its Tech Gives Back (TGB) Series, during the entire month of May.  How’s that for some Motherly Love. ????

The event comes in two parts, so here’s how it works:

Register for the social distance-friendly good deed

  • Healing Earth Bingo – CB will set up 9 eco-themed good deeds that you and your team can do entirely from your home, office, or home office for the entire month of May! Tasks take under an hour and may include online lessons, home efficiency, and more – plus, for every Bingo Board your team members complete, Community Bucket will donate $10 to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (up to the first 100 boards).

On May 1, registrants will receive a downloadable Healing Earth Bingo card, and will have the entire month of May to complete it. No slacking allowed.

  • You’re encouraged to distribute it to your whole team or company — the more people who play, the more money you’ll help raise.

Group River Cleanup on May 20

  • Join fellow participants on May 20 for a TGB-exclusive, socially distanced river cleanup event hosted by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK)! Attendees will learn about Atlanta’s most critical water source and take real steps to preserve it. Beverages, snacks, and sanitizer will be provided, as well as lunch at noon.

Get excited for these high-impact events! You don’t want to miss it.  Register here!
