In the inaugural event last year, 48in48, an effort to boost the presence of non-profits through a 48-hour hackathon, delivered over $1,200,000 of value to Atlanta organizations. In one weekend, the event created 48 websites, 4 logos, 48 blog posts, and more through the help of 150 dedicated professionals. This October 21-23, 48in48 is doing it all again! But they need your help. Here’s how you can participate in helping those that do good, look good:
- Volunteer | Offer your professional skills. Roles include project manager, developers, graphic designers, set-up helpers, and jacks-of-all -trades.
- Sponsor | Looking for brand exposure, media presence or good old fashioned sense of social responsibility? Offer sponsorship on the local and national levels.
- Apply | If you’re an established 501c3 or non-profit wanting a new website, this is your chance!
The application period for all interested non-profits, volunteers, and sponsors will be open during the month of June, so sign up before June 30, 2016.
