Building 48 websites for 48 nonprofits in 48 hours
Nonprofits spend all of their time doing good — and aren’t necessarily as focused on looking good. Imagine how powerful it would be to let highly skilled tech professionals (like designers and developers) use their skillset to help nonprofits grow?
Centered around a 48-hour hackathon-style event, 48in48 Atlanta, presented by Delta Air Lines, connects local nonprofits with skilled marketing and technology professionals. At the end of these 48 hours, 48 local nonprofits have brand-new professional websites. The nonprofits also get a fresh marketing strategy, branding advice, and design help. Before the main event, each nonprofit gets 6-10 weeks of marketing, branding, and impact training.
