Dragon Con in Downtown Atlanta
Are you ready for this? Dragon Con is taking over Downtown Atlanta Labor day weekend. The worlds largest multi-media, pop culture convention focusing on science fiction & fantasy, gaming comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe. Escape the real world.
September 10th – September 13th
Georgia Tech 3 day startup at Tech Square
For 72 hours, 3 Day Startup is a learning-by-doing business-themed hackathon that teaches entrepreneurial skills to university students in an extreme hands-on environment. Read about last year’s fun, than sign up here before its too late.

AT&T Hackathon at AT&T Foundry
Mobile App Hackathon is an event produced by the AT&T Developer Program that is designed for attendees (technical & non-technical) to build apps/mobile apps, get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people. Learn about years past and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. Attend.

Health Connect South at Georgia Aquarium
Health Connect South is the preeminent organization dedicated to gathering the best and the brightest leaders, innovators, and decision makers in Georgia’s health ecosystem. Discussions will focus on the Ebola response and collaborations that took (and are still taking) place to orchestrate this remarkable multi-institutional effort. Innovate together.

Southern Capital Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation
This is an annual meeting where limited partners, placement agents, consultants and gatekeepers from across the country come to build and extend relationships with general partners in the Southeastern private equity community. Go.

Hacker Halted 2015 at Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel
Hacker Halted is a global series of Computer and Information Security conferences presented by EC-Council. The objective of the Hacker Halted conferences is to raise international awareness towards increased education and ethics in IT Security. This year’s Hacker Halted will take a look at the plague that is afflicting our society at all levels; The Cyber Pandemic. Save the World.

One in a Millennial Awards at General Assembly
Join the TAG Young Professionals as they celebrate the age of millennials establishing their place in the technology and business communities in Georgia. The awards are open for nominations in eight categories, and the top 3 finalists will be chosen by an industry leading panel of judges.

Hack GT at Georgia Tech

48 in 48 at General Assembly
Some of our favorite peeps want to deliver over $1,200,000 of value to Atlanta Nonprofits within the span of 48 hours by building 48 custom WordPress websites… and more. Join in the huge undertaking with a team of dedicated professionals to make it happen.

Mini Maker Faire in Downtown Decatur
Back for another round in downtown Decatur, Maker Faire boasts the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Tickets are free but they are using Eventbrite for counting
