The Technology Association of Georgia Announces 2024 Award Winners

Last night the Technology Association of Georgia, which represents leaders and employers across the state, gathered at The Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta to celebrate its 2024 TAG Technology Award winners.

The winners represented eight categories, including corporate leadership, tech for good, and innovation.

Without further ado, here were the big winners from last night:

 

Corporate Tech Leader of the Year

Jonathan J O’Connor

O’Connor is the CEO of Third-party Payments Officer & Maast ​at Georgia-based financial services company Synovus. He also serves as a board member for Fintech Atlanta.

Emerging Leader of the Year    ​

Francine Marquis

Marquis is the AI Program Manager at Google Cloud at Google’s Atlanta office.

 

 

Public Servant Tech Leader of the Year ​

Robbie Vickers

Vickers is the Chief Information Officer at Technical College System of Georgia, which oversees the state’s 22 technical colleges, adult education programs, and a host of economic and workforce development programs.

 

 

Innovation Driven Company: Startup 

Momnt

Momnt is an Atlanta-based fintech startup that powers modern lending solutions for businesses to provide low-friction, affordable financing to their customers at the moment of need. 

 

 

Innovation Driven Company: Small Business 

BlinkSky

BlinkSky is a digital gifting company that allows users to send premium digital gift cards for the world’s top brands, to instantly reward customers, prospects or employees across US, Canada, Europe and Asia. 

 

 

Innovation Driven Company: Mid Market

TechBridge, Inc

TechBridge is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization working to break the cycle of generational poverty through the innovative use of technology. TechBridge has provided IT consulting and outsourcing services to hundreds of nonprofits.

 

Innovation Driven Company: Enterprise 

Cantaloupe Inc

Cantaloupe is a software and payments company providing end-to-end technology solutions for the unattended retail market.

 

 

Tech for Good​

Georgia AIM: Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing

Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing, funded through a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration, coordinates and works with established projects across the state to develop and implement artificial intelligence in manufacturing.
