Big Stories On Hype

Findevor, a startup founded by one of the leaders behind Atlanta-based public company Trust Stamp, officially came out of stealth mode. Learn about the InsurTech startup here.

Funding News

Pickleheads, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of a platform for pickleball players to connect and organize games, raised $2.5M in Seed funding. The round was led by Overline, with participation from Ardent, Oregon Sports Angels, Profluence Capital, Service Provider Capital, Network Ventures and over 65 new angel investors. Details here.

 

Comma, a Nashville-based, female-founded integrated period care company, announced the launch of its secure period tracking app, Sara™, alongside a $2 million seed funding round. Full details in press release here.

 

Scale Social AI, a Raleigh-based marketing SaaS and NC IDEA grant recipient, joined the Primordial portfolio. Details here.

 

M&A Activity

Quantum Workplace, an employee engagement and performance management platform, announced its acquisition of Durham, North Carolina-based WorkDove, a performance management software. Details in the press release here.

 

DoiT, a global cloud optimization company offering DoiT Cloud Intelligence, announced the acquisition of North Carolina-based PerfectScale, an automated Kubernetes (K8s) optimization and governance platform. Details in the press release here.

 

Hiring News

The Desire Company, the leading content-for-commerce solution, today announced the appointment of Kelly Hogue as VP, Head of Sales.
