Tech Topics In This Article: Atlanta AgeTech, CES
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the premier events on the tech community’s calendar, as startup founders and tech executives gather in Las Vegas to see what’s new and what’s next in the consumer technology space.
This year, Atlanta is set to take center stage (and not just because Delta’s Ed Bastian is delivering the keynote address). A group of local founders are heading to CES in January to showcase Atlanta’s leadership in a growing industry: Age Tech.
Hypepotamus first wrote about why the AgeTech scene in Atlanta is worth watching back in 2023. At the time, the city was home to a growing community of entrepreneurs looking to build SaaS tools, FinTech platforms, transportation companies, and consumer products to help elderly individuals stay independent and connected while supporting the growing number of people who find themselves in caregiving roles. The community, centered around the AgeTech Atlanta group, has only grown over the last year. AgeTech Atlanta has built new community groups in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, NYC, DC, and Toronto, with more cities on the way…highlighting the growing momentum and national interest around the AgeTech industry.
