New York’s early-stage, women-led VC firm HearstLab is coming to Atlanta this fall…and they want to hear pitches from local female founders.
HearstLab has picked Atlanta for its next live pitch event location. Selected companies will pitch in front of a live audience and an expert panel of judges for $100k as part of its “FoundHER: The Pitch Lab” series.
The series, which launched in 2022, has previously taken place in Los Angeles, New York City, and San Antonio. The Atlanta event will take place on November 12.
While this is the first time HearstLab is bringing its pitch competition to Atlanta, the VC is no stranger to the Southeast region. Its portfolio includes Barn2Door (Nashville), Junum (New Orleans), Narratize (Covington, Kentucky), SecondKeys (Memphis), and SupportPay (Charlotte).
Who HearstLab Is Looking For
HearstLab is looking for female founders whose companies meet the following criteria:
- A female CEO
- US-based, pre-Series A
- Tech-enabled B2B/B2B2C solution
- MVP or live product in market (no physical products or inventory)
