Atlanta Startup Weekend Education (SWEDU) was hosted by the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) to bring tech community voices and educator experiences front and center. Seven teams worked all weekend (Sept. 12-14, 2014) to design solutions for the education system’s most critical challenges. Take a look at the winners below.
STEM Engine – 1st Place
This project aims to streamline the process for schools to start and implement their own maker spaces. The platform aggregates project ideas, tracks student projects and provides feedback loops for students and schools.
