The Venture Atlanta conference is about to get even better. (Yes, Atlassian’s Jay Simons keynote announcement was just the beginning). The conference is combining forces with Techstars Atlanta this fall to bring you the ultimate investor showcase. This collaboration will result in three days of networking and investment opportunities for leading investors, entrepreneurs and influencers.
Techstars Atlanta’s Demo Day will take place on November 1 and will lead into the Venture Atlanta conference on November 2-3. Applications for Techstars Atlanta’s inaugural class came from all over the world — 69 countries and six continents. The demo day will feature presentations from Techstars Atlanta’s 2016 class of 10 startups and give unique access to investment dollars and connections from attending investors. (Here’s a refresher).
“Techstars Atlanta and Cox Enterprises share a common goal of raising visibility for Atlanta’s entrepreneurial community,” said Managing Director Michael Cohn. “To help achieve this goal, we’ve aligned Techstars Atlanta’s inaugural Demo Day with Venture Atlanta to create a 3-day startup showcase for in-town and visiting investors. Combined, our two programs will offer investors access to some amazing entrepreneurs and startups from Atlanta, the region, as well as from around the globe.”
Venture Atlanta has helped entrepreneurs raise more than $1.6 billion and last year, more than 100 investment funds from across the country attended the conference to support emerging startups and find the next big thing.
Don’t miss this opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the biggest investors in the country and around the globe.
