Techstars Atlanta has definitely made its mark on the local startup community over the last few years through graduates of their two two accelerator programs.
But the Techstars team provides lots of community-wide learning initiatives. One of these, Techstars Startup Week, is back with a free five-day event. Through a series of networking and educational programming, attendees can plug into the local startup tech community.
For lead organizer Kylan Kester, the week is a chance for those across Atlanta to learn from leaders and hear success stories and lessons learned along the way.
Some speakers include Atlanta Ventures’ Karen Houghton, Truist’s Nathan Meyer, cove.tool’s CEO Sandeep Ahuja, Engage’s Holly Beilin, Resilia’s Alaysia Brown, Outlander Labs’ Leura Craig, the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s Jay Bailey, and many other leaders from the startup and VC space.
Atlanta joins the list of likes of Los Angeles, Sydney, Taipei, Bangkok, Mexico City and Dublin where Techstars has hosted Startup Weeks.
Participants can join virtual sessions such as:
- Corporate Innovation, presented by Truist
- Creative Industries
- Entertainment/Sports
- Inclusive Innovation
- Social Impact
- Tech/FinTech, presented by Invesco
“Startup Week Atlanta is going to be a really great celebration of different categories in our startup community,” Kester told Hypepotamus. I’m really excited for the different people we were able to get involved, like our community of volunteers that represent all the tracks we have this week.”
Startup Week will run Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13. Registration is free and can be found here.
