Funding News

Elizabethtown, Kentucky: Venminder, a SaaS platform to mitigate risk associated with working with vendors, raised $33 million Series C. We’ve got more information about the round here.

Atlanta, Georgia: Press Sports App raised a pre-seed round from Overline VC totaling $750K. Learn more here about how the team built a social media app for athletes looking to gain more exposure to fans and recruits.

Birmingham, Alabama-based Fleetio, a startup known for online fleet management, has raised a $21 million Series B round, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.

What’s Moving Around the Southeast:

Virginia-based cybersecurity SaaS company Telos announced this week it would the conditions for its IPO. Telos plans to raise $210 million by offering 12.4 million shares at a price range of $16 to $18, according to a press release sent from the company.

Portland-based Smarsh announced it will acquire Tennessee-based Digital Reasoning, a startup providing AI and machine learning services to intelligence agencies, financial institutions, and healthcare organizations.
