Photographer management startup ShootProof has acquired software company Táve, which has a platform that helps manage creative event-based businesses. Formerly based in Alpharetta, the Táve team has relocated to ShootProof’s Atlanta headquarters and will retain its leadership and employees.
“We founded Táve with the vision of helping photographers more easily run their creative business and achieve their dreams,” says Táve co-founder Adrian Ziemkowski. “Colin and the ShootProof team are the ideal partner for us. We are confident that their excellent technology platform, deep customer relationships, incredible growth and robust team will enable us to realize our vision at scale.”
The online gallery software gives photographers and clients a hub to display and share customizable galleries and deliverables. It also serves as a sales and marketing tool, helping them manage leads, appointment scheduling, outgoing and completed contracts, and payment installments for completed jobs.
In 2013, the two companies announced an integration of their two platforms.
Last year, ShootProof closed an investment from Providence Strategic Growth, the growth equity affiliate of Providence Equity Partners, which Breece told Hypepotamus would be earmarked for strategic acquisitions. This is the first one of those.
“Táve has a powerful product and is led by a great team that is focused on delivering exceptional customer service, which is reflected in the incredible loyalty of their customers,” said CEO Breece in a statement.
“We’re excited to offer our customers the benefits of a comprehensive solution as well as the continued flexibility to select and integrate with other leading providers.”
ShootProof currently serves tens of thousands of photographers across 38 countries.
