With New SaaS Sales Leader, QASymphony Expands to Europe

Atlanta-based QASymphony, a provider of agile QA software solutions, will expand into the European market after a year of explosive growth. To do so, the company has brought on a leader with experience in major enterprise software organizations including Hewlett-Packard and Computer Associates.

Bas NijjerBas Nijjer will lead the company’s new UK office in London and four team members in 2017. Jeff Perkins, QASymphony’s CMO, says they plan to expand the European team in 2018.

In previous roles at multiple SaaS providers, Nijjer built and managed sales teams and grew customer base and revenue. Dave Keil, CEO of QASymphony, says Nijjer’s experience will help position the company for continued international growth.

“Over the past two years there has been tremendous growth in the European market as enterprises are experiencing competitive pressure to speed up time to market while improving software quality,” says Keil. “We are thrilled to have Bas lead our European team and I am confident that he will be able to accelerate the growth of our global footprint.”

Keil says Nijjer brings a competitive edge and global vision to the company.

“Bas’ team focus and competitive spirit aligns very well with our company’s core values. We were looking for someone with the strategic vision to transform QASymphony into a truly global organization. Bas has shown that he is exceptional in that area,” says Keil.

QASymphony, the recipient of Technology Association of Georgia’s Excalibur Award in 2016, added over 210 new customers last year — with names like Cisco, Boeing, Sony, and Amazon joining the roster. Current clients also include Salesforce, Barclays, Adobe, Samsung, Verizon, and Office Depot.

“The company has best-in-class software testing solutions, a very talented team and incredible sales momentum in North America. I look forward to driving similar success in the European region,” says Nijjer.

Perkins says QASymphony also plans to add 20 team members to its existing Atlanta office by the end of this year.
