Do you know an aspiring entrepreneur or innovator in grades 9-12? Innovation in Action is hosting two top-notch programs this summer to expose teens to the mindset, tools and strategies of entrepreneurs, innovators and designers. Whether they already have an epic product/service idea or not, these talented teens will come away from these hands-on programs with the confidence and skills they need to develop innovative solutions to real world problems.
Each day will be packed with hands-on activities to help students create their own startups, explore the entrepreneurial mindset and the key skills for developing innovative ideas, and apply the design thinking process to problems that matter to them. Students will work with peers to identify, develop, test, and pitch a startup idea that addresses a local or global issue and build a business model to bring this solution to life. Students will then pitch their solutions to a panel of judges and the broader startup community in a Teen Showcase. Plus, they’ll experience networking and gain industry advice from local entrepreneurs involved in Atlanta’s growing startup scene.
