Please tell us a little about your company and its founders:
Gayle Link, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of the GalliumGroup. She has a doctorate in mechanical engineering and masters in industrial engineering from Stanford University, and a bachelors and masters in mechanical engineering from Penn State University. She’s worked in Heavy Trucks, Manufacturing and with GM Truck and Bus and data assurance with Ernst & Young.

What problem are you addressing?:
The heavy equipment/heavy transport market is a $300 Billion dollar industry that is awash in data, from millions of part numbers, engineering lift tables, fluids analysis, sensor data, and warranty history. This data must be managed effectively to improve products and to support warranty claims.

GalliumGroup is addressing the problem of warranty optimization.  Warranty holders leave $5 billion on the table every year because they lack the data and actionable intelligence to fully pursue their claims.

For whom?:
We are trying to help warranty managers in the heavy equipment/heavy transport space manage all this data so that can recover money due their companies.

How does Atlanta weave into your story?:
Atlanta is a special place, one that helps promote dreams and provides resources like Flashpoint that can help entrepreneurs focus and win. Moreover, Atlanta is home and the place where all of GalliumGroup’s core team met, bonded over stories of driving a tractor, and determined to bring value to an industry.
