Hux is an online marketplace where you can instantly book a local service provider. Similar to Airbnb, you can compare local service providers on reviews, total price, pictures, availability and instantly book an appointment online. Currently focused on house cleaning, Hux will expand into a wide variety of services in the future.
Founded in 2014, Hux grew quickly then raised a $1.25mm seed round from Dau Group and Draper Associates in March 2016.
We are looking for a magnetic and empathetic Support and Marketing Specialist to assist existing customers, close new customers and turn unhappy customers into our biggest evangelists. The position is part-time, with a flexible schedule between 8:00am – 10:00pm EST weekdays (typical shift will last between 5-7 hours, daily).
☻ Convert prospective customers by answering inbound questions and assisting with the booking process
☻ Provide prompt resolutions to complaints by communicating with customers and providers via Zendesk, phone and chat
☻ Help the team create and implement policies to mitigate negative experiences
☻ Leverage technology to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
☻ Respond to inbound calls and messages from prospective customers in a timely manner
☻ Prioritize support tickets in Zendesk and provide prompt resolutions
☻ Cultivate relationships with our customers through follow-ups and personalized service
☻ Manage difficult or emotional customer interactions with grace and composure
☻ Record data and report KPIs to the Customer Support Manager
☻ You love helping people, have a passion for technology and possess outstanding communication skills
☻ Your own computer and access to internet during work hours
☻ 1+ years customer support/technical support experience (preferably at a high growth startup)
☻ Help desk experience (preferably Zendesk)
☻ Flexible schedule with ability to manage support on weekends with ample notice
☻ Bachelor’s Degree (or in college)
