Our partner, a Georgia nonprofit, is looking for a Chief Experience Officer to help them create great experiences for their 35,000 members & 2000+ companies by making their 200+ events across the 33 societies engaging and impactful. Your work will help educate, promote, influence, and unite Georgia’s technology community to foster innovation and stimulate economic growth in Georgia eco-system’s tech-based economy. The mission of the CXO is to ensure that the overall experience for members, sponsors, guests and partners for our partner’s events greatly exceeds expectations, challenge the status quo and drives engagement amongst all of our partner’s constituents. Working with a team of highly motivated volunteers and professional staff, the CXO will create frameworks, build systems and drive programs that consistently enable the Client to deliver world-class content and meaningful experiences. You will help set a standard of thought leadership that generates lasting value to its members and stakeholders in a comprehensive and measurable manner.
The CXO provides pivotal executive leadership for our partner and will be responsible for overseeing and driving key revenue generating and communication functions / platforms. These may include but won’t be limited to; societies, events, C-Level programming, & career fairs / training / hackathons.
Act as the point person for all societies, drive event planning and fund-raising, encourage member and community engagement, and support the CEO in evaluating current societies while exploring the feasibility of new ones.
Collaboratively develop annual and long-range plans, implement improvements to the current structure and provide guidance to drive innovation
This C-Level role will serve as an executive officer for our partner and will have budgetary, management and strategic functions.
Key Event Management and planning for every major partner event
Staff each event committee, propose annual plans, identify & secure committee members / speakers / sponsors, craft agendas, and raise sponsorship dollars
Information Repository, Web Development & Social Media management
Society Relations management, improvement, support, scheduling, budgets, coordination, communication, and visibility
Fiscal Management of budgets for operations and councils
Sponsorship: Work with team to proactively identify and grow sponsor prospects
Technology utilization – both internal and external – to ensure optimum customer interaction and participation.
