DigitalCrafts is hiring a Software Engineering Instructor to train the next generation of software engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to use your programming expertise to train these aspiring developers through our intensive bootcamps.
Co-leading a classroom of up to 24 aspiring developers Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm – 9:30pm and Saturday from 10am – 2pm over a 26 week period.
Developing and enhancing curriculum assets for classroom lectures, lab work, homework assignments, and student projects
Writing technical blog posts and tutorials for curriculum and marketing purposes
Experience as an instructor is not required, but ideal candidates have experience in leading teams, mentoring or extensive public speaking.
5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Outgoing, organized, friendly, reliable, and patient
Ability to break down complex concepts into digestible pieces
