Expectations of the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has its sights firmly set on growth. As our People and Culture Coordinator you will support the global Infomedia People and Culture team as well as areas across the SimplePart business regarding people changes, recruitment, systems and other P&C projects. You will be proactive, detail oriented and with great communication skills, looking to join a growing company at the forefront of software-as a-service (SaaS) in the Automotive Industry.
What you’ll do:
Processing all end-to-end information for all new US hires and separations including updates within Paychex, gathering ID’s for I9 processing, and creating tickets within Jira.
Owning onboarding and offboarding of employees including coordination of all company assets sent to the employee.
Providing client support to all employees across all People & Culture policy and process related enquiries
Providing operational support to our global People & Culture Managers
Providing relevant program support including ad-hoc projects such as our HRIS Project, Talent Management and Learning and Development programs
Completing Payroll and managing inquiries
Providing information and updates related to benefits
Creating & maintaining reports via Excel
Send a new hire welcome introduction and schedule first week training and travel schedule to meet with each department head.
Administration of training platform for all US employees
Ordering employee deliveries for bereavement, special occasions etc.
Complete employment verifications.
Participate in planning company events with the US Culture Committee including charity
Ordering of company branded logo items for new hires and distribution.
What you’ll bring:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably for a computer software organization
Completed college degree in Human Resources or business minor
2 years’ experience as a Generalist HR role
Able to operate as the HR specialist in the US, with the support of a global P&C team
Experience in full lifecycle requirements for both technology and sales talent in the US
Service focus, proactive and positive attitude
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to multitask and juggle multiple urgent tasks
Self-starter and can work independently
High level of confidentiality and integrity
Attention to detail and a high drive to deliver results
Great communicator with attention
Advanced experience with Excel, Word, calendaring, and Teams
Previous experience with using Paychex
