The E-Commerce Services Team:
On SimplePart’s E-Commerce Services Team you will have the opportunity to expand the scope of and improve the performance of the search engine marketing for our clients, some of the world’s biggest and most recognizable brands. This team increasingly relies on automation to make our account management processes and tasks more efficient, and to achieve excellent account performance for our clients. We are technical marketers with full ownership of Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Building, refining, and analyzing data and seeing the impact of our efforts on the business is what drives us.

As a Database Developer you will be responsible for Schema, Stored Procedures and Functions which will improve and refine our core competencies in SEM and SEO. With your help, we will combine product data, transactional data, and search engine data with our platform analytics to further leverage business automation functionality to improve account performance. This role will be especially well suited to candidates who have a passion for working with (and realizing the potential of) large, complex data sets. This is an application development role working in Microsoft SQL Server, with light DBA duties as relates to MSSQL instances supporting the development environment.

Qualifications:
Computer Science or CIS degree or equivalent professional experience
Intermediate to advanced T-SQL knowledge (Seeking mid-career and senior-level candidates)
Experience with mining data and a demonstrated ability to be innovative when crafting solutions
The E-commerce team utilizes SQL Server stored procedures for business logic and our data warehouse as well as Python for API integrations and automations. We host on owned equipment (not cloud) and we do no outsourcing or offshore work of any kind.
