About SimplePart:
SimplePart builds smart world-class eCommerce and Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) solutions for the world’s leading automakers. If you’ve bought an OEM car part online from a car dealer in the last decade, you likely used SimplePart’s technology. Our marketing, platform and data connects more than 9 million monthly online shoppers to the parts, accessories and service they need to keep their cars running.

We are and will always be a data and engineering company – our products handle information at massive scale, extending well beyond off-the-shelf eCommerce. Our teams are fast-paced, versatile and ready to take on technology’s greatest challenges and make an impact on millions of users. Our stack is SQL (stored procedures), C# and Vue.js running a Component model on top of Webforms. We host on owned equipment (not cloud) and we do no outsourcing or offshore work of any kind. This is a fun, flexible, iterative team focused exclusively on our eCommerce and EPC platform.

In this UI Developer role, you’ll live on the Design team, working hand-in hand with both the rest of the Design team, as well as the Development team, in a hybrid agile (two week sprint) model. Your primary focus will be bringing to life front-end interactions and components to create elegant, simple, accessible experiences for our global shopper base. You will be working hands-on to prototype, develop, and refine user interface components, ensuring that these components and the overall application are robust, easy to maintain and scale, and pixel-perfect.

Experience working with the latest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3
Experience developing for ADA and WCAG accessibility
Experience working with Configuration-Driven-Design concepts
Experience designing for a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers

Familiarity with .NET, C#, and MS-SQL preferred, but not required.
Background or previous experience in UI/UX design highly preferred, but not required.
Ability to speak in the languages of both designers and developers, and help contribute to the communication between the two teams.
Dedication to improving the UI of a platform, and constantly iterating to make the product the best it can be.
Ability to work in a very high-pressure, fast paced environment with changing priorities, with the ability to adapt to new processes as they’re implemented.
Desire to find your own work, take on responsibilities, carve your own path.
An appreciation for cars, motorcycles, and automotive culture is not required, but will help you feel at home.
