About The Role:

We are looking for a Systems Administrator with a focus on Incident Response. You will join a team responsible for the availability, reliability, architecture, security and day-to-day operations of our SaaS environment – spanning multiple datacenters and countries.

This role will include a mix of web, server, network and security administration duties – as well as troubleshooting and overseeing incident response. In this role you will have the opportunity to innovate, prototype and be instrumental in evolving the next phase of our production architecture.

Incident Response Responsibilities:

Serve as the main escalation point within the team for security monitoring, incident response, and incident management
Responding to potential security events, developing standard procedures, reviewing logs, generating detailed documentation, and providing input to technical and business leaders on improvements for incident response effectiveness
Provide meaningful and timely reporting of security success metrics.
Identifies security flaws and vulnerabilities and communicates those effectively within the organization.
Develops a procedural set of responses for cyber security problems. Maintaining and creating new playbooks for the incident response team to use as new threats emerge.

An ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with these technologies:

Windows Server
Microsoft IIS
Microsoft SQL Server
Load Balancing (HAProxy)
DNS (Multi-datacenter routing and high availability)
Servers (Supermicro)
Active Directory
Core datacenter infrastructure (racking, security, power, cooling, fiber, etc)
Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, including HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, NTP.

These additional qualifications would be a bonus:

3-5 years in a System Administration role
Scripting for automation, system maintenance and administration experience using PowerShell, Python and others
CCNA or equivalent certification
Understanding of how to optimize cyber incident response frameworks leveraging security orchestration and automation tooling
Experience leading Incident response teams that include ethical hacking, threat hunting and penetration testing.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/CIS or equivalent
