The Ecommerce Services team specializes in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and uses each to generate the best performance possible for our clients, automotive dealerships belonging to our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) clients. We are looking to add a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to our team.
SimplePart is looking for a SEO Specialist to help us increase traffic and sales from organic search to our client websites. The role of SEO Specialist consists of keyword research, creating H1’s, titles, page descriptions, introductory text, etc., and conducting multiple iterations which are informed through conducting performance analyses. No coding or technical skill-set is required, though it is a bonus if you have any experience with HTML or other front end coding, or SQL or other programming/query language. We will train suitable candidates.
Responsibilities:
Use dashboards, reporting, and automated alerts to monitor performance for key clients
Edit SEO related content such as titles, H1’s, meta descriptions and other content for web pages
Implement tactical changes to meet SEO growth objectives
Monitor and maintain existing site map, and other SEO related submission and data collection processes
Stay current with organic search related news and changes to SEO Best Practices
Identify and communicate changes, risks and developing trends
Assist with communication across ecommerce, marketing, development, and business teams
Qualifications:
A quick learner with great information capture skills
Natural understanding and appreciation for the nuance of words
Excellent organizational skills
Bonus skills:
Experience working with digital marketing data (visitors, sales, impressions, clicks, bounce rate, CTR, C/R, etc.)
Experience using a Content Management System (CMS)
Experience with business writing or technical writing
Experience with HTML/CSS, SQL or other coding languages
