About The Role

Relay Payments is seeking an IT Security Director with a track record of implementing continuous improvement processes within a security framework to prevent and address security breaches and threats. Additionally, this role will architect and build cyber security solutions that meet the needs of our growing fintech company, overseeing design, testing and implementation plus control of the maintenance and monitoring of all live production environments.

Create and execute IT and data security strategies that will enhance and increase the reliability and security of Relay’s IT systems and projects
Oversee the planning and execution of any required vulnerability audits, penetration tests and forensic IT investigations, ensuring that any outcomes improve the organization’s overall IT security
Ensure the integration of IT systems development with Relay’s overall security policies, IT and data protection strategies
Ensure that staff training in the latest security awareness skills, together with any associated protocols, methodologies and procedures, takes place
Take full responsibility for compliance with any related legislation, such as the Data Protection Act, ISO standards and government regulations, as needed
Prepare budgetary allocations and financial forecasts relating to IT security including adherence to strategic policy
Manage partners, stakeholders, vendors and third party service or solutions providers of relevant IT security services

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years in the information technology field with 6+ years focused on security disciplines
Extensive experience in monitoring, detecting, reporting security weaknesses, and enforcing information security policies and best practices in a corporate environment using vulnerability management software
Experience developing security hardening procedures and security best practices
