As the Head of Marketing, you are ready to be a player-coach who can manage a small but mighty team and also get stuff done efficiently. You are a detail-oriented, hard-working, problem solver with an optimistic attitude, that can easily (and happily) wear many hats. You are able to uphold our company’s principles and values while adding to our unique culture. As the leader of our Marketing Team, you will broadly be responsible for Brand Development, Go to Market Strategies, Analytics and Research, Continual Improvement Process, and Corporate Governance and Leadership.
Lead external communications function to the media and outside stakeholders.
Direct the team in developing content in line with the brand message, strategic goals, and KPIs.
Ensure that the brand message across platform is delivered with consistency.
Connect with external stakeholders — public officials, social services organizations, activist groups — to build support for PadSplit, its model and its values.
Go To Market Strategies
Develop new service offerings and partnerships to drive incremental revenue, lower CAC, drive retention, and enhance brand.
Develop and direct SEO strategy build awareness, reduce CAC, and enhance brand
Ensure that advertising spending is done effectively and efficiently, by directing ad management to continually improve targeting and reach while maintaining new customer growth.
Work with partnerships manager to identify potential partners that can drive membership in our direction, and that can mitigate challenges for our members.
Direct advertising manager to optimize advertising, based on ICP and member feedback.
Analytics and Research
Direct marketing strategy manager to identify an ideal customer profile and establish a continual listening program to incorporate member feedback into operations.
Ensure that the voice of the customer — as well as other stakeholders — is reflected in planning and operations.
Work with the COO to help identify and open new geographic markets.
Work with product team to develop analytical tools and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of advertising and marketing models in real time.
Continual Improvement Process
Develop and execute a plan for the marketing team to cross-train and incorporate learning from internal and external data sources into operations.
Provide required data and analysis to inform product and operations decisions and to support revenue generation.
With customer success team, refine onboarding process to identify potential members who may have a poor fit.
Corporate Governance and Leadership
Serve as the voice of the customer and external stakeholders in executive strategy discussions.
Recruit, manage, and grow our marketing team into a world-class powerhouse, to include exceptional capabilities in content, inbound, outbound, brand/buzz, etc.
Grow staff performance, with a focus on professional skill development, career growth, and employee retention, supported by our head of talent and utilizing our OKR process.
Generate and present innovative and strategic sales and marketing recommendations to the PadSplit executive committee.
Marketing Leadership and Strategy
Lead your team and create strategy in the areas of digital advertising, brand management, marketing strategy, partnerships, and External Affairs/PR
At least 5 years experience creating, implementing, and testing a robust and creative end to end marketing strategy
B2C and marketplace experience highly preferred
Excellent writing and communication skills
Highly Skilled in SEO strategy along with broader online / offline marketing channels
