Jamestown Invest is seeking a Digital Marketing and Content Strategist to lead the development of paid, owned and earned digital and social marketing initiatives to support the continued growth of our investor community. Reporting to the Vice President, you will drive awareness to our online marketplace, enabling individuals to build a well-balanced portfolio by investing in private market commercial real estate sponsored by Jamestown. In addition, you will design and implement a plan around content and media, drive dissemination of brand messaging and further the narrative of the first direct-to-consumer platform launched by a global real estate institution. Primary Responsibilities 

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy and execution, including creation and management of the editorial content calendar, working with various stakeholders
  • Lead the development of digital media plans, including programmatic, video, paid social, and partnerships
  • Collaborate with our Head of Partnerships to continue growing distribution channels and strategic partnerships
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance and implement optimizations on paid and organic efforts
  • Write content across platforms, including blog posts and whitepapers
  • Strengthen all social channels using strategic storytelling and development of a comprehensive editorial calendar
  • Continuously analyze data to optimize marketing campaigns
  • Stay on top of changing digital behaviors and trends and provide ongoing creative and strategic inspiration to the team
  • Regularly propose, test, and explore innovative experiments to increase conversion
  • Source new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and other methods
  • Maintain competitive research to inform decision making on marketing campaigns

What You’ll Need To Have

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Experience in optimizing marketing strategies for conversions, retention, and LTV, while maintaining a low CAC
  • A data-driven mindset
  • Established social media background including driving strategy for an innovative brand
  • Command of performance media including budget allocation, audience identification, creative strategy, and optimization
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and impeccable, persuasive writing skills
  • Strong command of web and social analytics and insight development
  • Experience leading paid media campaigns including planning, audience targeting, creative development, testing and analysis a strong plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • A recommendation for a new multi-touch attribution technology
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or a CRM solution, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, WordPress, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads
