Harmony Venture Labs (HVL) is seeking a curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial Venture Analyst to help us identify and validate the next wave of high-impact startups. You’ll play a critical role in shaping new venture opportunities—from uncovering market insights to conducting discovery interviews and evaluating concept viability.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with key decision-makers to assess ideas that align with HVL’s mission of building technology companies that create meaningful value for people and communities. Responsibilities
- Generate and evaluate business concepts for potential new venture creation.
- Conduct market research and analysis of key markets to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities to explore.
- Analyze the competitive landscape of key markets to assess potential opportunities for differentiation.
- Create well-designed and effective research reports, presentations, and additional materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or co-lead customer discovery interviews with target buyer personas during discovery phase for new venture concepts.
- Support Director of Product in taking selected concepts through a process to validate product-market fit.
- Assess, score, and assist with prioritization of new opportunities to take through validation and launch.
Who You Are
- A degree in a related field (technology, business, finance, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Possesses a high level of attention to detail
- Able to present research and data effectively in a variety of formats
- Naturally curious and continuous learner
- Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders with professionalism, clarity, and confidence
