As a Customer Support Engineer you will:

Monitor up to 50 autonomous robotic workers across multiple customers and geographies
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including both hardware and software issues
Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
Track issue resolution from first call through to resolution, within agreed time limits
Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or text
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
Ensure all issues are properly logged
Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
Follow up with clients to ensure their robotic workers are fully functional after troubleshooting
Prepare accurate and timely reports as needed
Help maintain our suite of monitoring tools to automate your workload
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
Maintain jovial relationships with clients
Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly Customer Success meetings, retrospectives, and roadmap planning

As a candidate you already have:

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
Desire to free humans from hard, manual labor
BS in Computer Science or related degree
You might also (nice-to-have):

Have software development experience and solid engineering practices
Have experience with robotics: control systems, machine vision, obstacle avoidance, SLAM, and/or other robotics algorithms and libraries
Have used the Robotic Operating System (ROS)
You’ve mowed a lawn or two
