Job Description 
Grayshift is looking to expand our team with a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer! In this role, you will help modernize, automate, and maintain our product, the GrayKey, hardware provisioning process. You will also get to collaborate with our very technically talented Engineers with brainstorming new ways to elevate the GrayKey. Primarily Remote Role based in the United States (HQ is in Atlanta, GA).  

– Design robust, maintainable, scalable provisioning solutions;
– Implement and integrate automated systems to provision, test, and deploy software;
– Scope and specify hardware and software and required to build, test, and deploy software;
– Create tools in support of Development Team requirements;
– Take initiative, build strong teams, communicate effectively;
– Work closely with software development teams;
– Perform other duties as assigned.

– 2+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles;
– Proficient in Linux system administration;
– Proficient with Linux embedded devices and encrypted operating system deployments;
– Proficient in Python and bash shell scripting;
– Proficient with Build tools (make, BuildEsentials, NodeJS, Python);
– Experience using GitLab, Gitlab CI/CD, Pipelines, and Compliance Framework;
– Experience with NEXUS and S3 repositories;
– Experience creating and maintaining pipelines with multiple runner configurations;
– Experience with virtualization technologies including KVM, VMWare, VirtualBox;
– Experience with containerized applications and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.);
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer; Engineering, or equivalent experience;
– Knowledge of the hardware architectures (IE: ARM, ARM64, X86_64);
– Travel <10%.

Nice to Have: 
– 1+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS);
– Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
