About the opportunity
Calendly is looking for an HR Coordinator to join and support our fast growing team! This role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and assist with company-wide initiatives including events, perks & wellness programs, employer branding, culture initiatives, and the onboarding process. We’ve experienced incredible growth over the last year and we’re on track to double our team in 2020. This role will be front and center in building a “Best Place to Work” environment.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling tech company. This role will require strong communication skills and attention to detail. You will work very closely with our culture team to build out Calendly’s culture initiatives including events, wellness programs, and partner with our office manager to build a warm, welcoming environment. You will have the unique opportunity to support and build out our onboarding and learning programs as our company continues to grow.
Some challenges you’ll get to tackle
-Partner with Recruiting, Office Operations, Culture Crew, and Senior HR Business Partner to continuously improve culture and wellness initiatives
-Build out onboarding experience for new hires and support them through their 90 day acclimation to Calendly
-Lead planning for monthly and annual company events/celebrations including holiday party, office olympics, and company goal attainment celebrations
-Develop creative ways and own programs to recognize employees for birthdays, anniversaries, and special life events
-Establish strong relationships with team members and collect formal and informal feedback regarding company events, initiatives, and our internal communication process
-Partner with Marketing and Recruiting on branding initiatives including Best Places to Work competitions, employer pages, and social media presence
You should apply if you have:
-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, communications or a related field
-1-3 years of HR-related experience, technology or start-up experience preferred
-Strong work ethic and collaborator
-Highly developed interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), organizational and problem solving skills. Must be extremely detail oriented and be able to carry out directives, multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment.
-Impeccable time management skills and an ability to self-direct
-Ability to get along with diverse personalities, as well as be tactful, mature and flexible
-US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (we do not sponsor at this time)
