POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Social Media Apprentice will implement social media strategy and handle day-to-day operations and community management for our active social clients. Reporting to our Account Management team, they will play an important role in the execution of account work including but not limited to community engagement, influencer outreach and management, and scheduling posts. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for social media, pop culture, and current media trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research social media trends and updates
Support influencer strategy through leading the execution of influencer targeting, outreach, and management
Schedule social media posts for owned social accounts, and post natively as needed
Own community management across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others), including real-time event coverage (if applicable), engaging with followers, partners, and influencers on both owned and earned social content
Monitor and moderate social media conversations on priority social platforms, including content from key influencers who are talking about the brand
Share community feedback and identify potential issues that should be escalated to stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

Social Media experience managing highly engaged brands on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Recent college graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, PR, or a related field
Hands-on experience with community management and scheduling on social platforms
Experience using Google Drive
Strong creative writing ability
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Deep understanding of social media communities and actively participate in them. You have thoughts on the best meme accounts, YouTube channels, tweets, and TikTok challenges, and are always looking out for the next big trend.
You are resourceful and can leverage your knowledge and critical thinking to adapt and find new solutions to problems.

JOB TYPE:

Full-time hourly position
Open to remote positions, ideally in the Atlanta area

MANDATORY START DATE: Training will begin on January 3, 2022
