The Mission

At 4Earth, we are building advanced resource recovery technology that plugs seamlessly into factories and mission critical infrastructure to turn waste into value.

To do this, we cannot rely on off-the-shelf control panels and standard industrial dogmas. We need to engineer the nervous system of machines that must survive, sense, and operate in the harshest industrial environments.

We are looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer who views the electron path as their personal responsibility. You will be responsible for the “heart and brain” of our technology—from the high-voltage muscle that drives our pumps and reactors to the micro-level sensor logic that gives them intelligence.

We want an inventor who gets their hands dirty, terminates their own cabinets, and iterates until the physics works.

The Role

You will own the electrical architecture of our product A-Z. This is a role at the intersection of Industrial Automation, Power Distribution, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

You will not be handing off red-lines to a technician. You will be:

  • Designing complete control systems from blank-sheet to commission.
  • Building units with your own hands.
  • Scaling designs for mass production.
  • Parts selection

What You Will Build

  • The Nervous System: Design and integrate complex control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and sensor arrays (flow, pressure, chemical composition) that drive our technology.
  • The Power Core: Manage the energy distribution architecture, handling both High Voltage (480V+) for heavy actuation and Low Voltage (24VDC) for logic and safety chains.
  • The Physical Product (DFM):You will work on enhancing our product designs for manufacturing. You will optimize panel layouts, harness routing, and component selection to ensure our systems can be manufactured at velocity.
  • The Supply Chain: You don’t just pick parts; you spec and validate components that are available, reliable, and cost-effective. You own the BOM.
