CFV Ventures (Charlotte, North Carolina): A venture capital fund based in Charlotte, NC working with early-stage fintech startups primarily based in the United States. 

Charleston Angel Partners (Charleston, South Carolina): Established in 2004, Charleston Angel Partners is an accomplished boutique angel group consisting of diverse members supporting the bold founder and their journey.

Charlotte Angel Fund (Charlotte, North Carolina): Early-stage fund based in Charlotte. One of North Carolina’s most active angel investing groups.

Cherub Fund (Lexington, Kentucky): The Cherub Fund was formed in 2013 in order to grow the startup community in Kentucky. The fund is comprised of entrepreneurs, angel investors and supporters of entrepreneurs.

Intersouth Partners (Durham, North Carolina): Intersouth Partners is one of the most active and experienced venture capital firms in the Southeast, having invested in more than 100 private companies. Founded in 1985, Intersouth manages $780 million in seven venture capital limited partnerships, making it the largest venture capital fund in North Carolina and one of the largest in the Southeast.

InvestTN (Tennessee): Powered by Launch Tennessee, InvestTN makes equity investments into Tennessee-located startups (Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A and B) and venture capital funds.

Johnson Venture Partners (JVP) (Atlanta, Georgia): is an Atlanta-based micro venture capital fund investing in seed and early-stage startups.

Jumpstart Foundry (Nashville, Tennessee): Jumpstart Foundry (JSF) invests in 30-50 healthcare technology companies annually and guides these innovators on their journey to impact health through capital, connections, and support.

Jurassic Capital (Durham, North Carolina): An early-stage investor with a specific focus on B2B software companies building in the Southeast. 

Keiretsu Forum (local chapters in Atlanta, and West Palm): Keiretsu has been the largest angel investor in the Southeast for the last 4 years according to Pitchbook.

It currently has $60 million in AUM and is investing out of its third fund, Overline Seed Fund II.

Redhawk VC (Birmingham, Alabama): Redhawk VC is a venture capital firm that focuses on under-served markets across the United States

Render Capital (Louisville, Kentucky): Firm looking at early-stage startups in the South and Midwest 

RevTechLabs Capital (Charlotte, North Carolina): Early-stage firm focused on post-revenue, Fintech and Insurtech startups from around the globe with a heavy US/Canada focus.  Average investment size is $200-$400k 

The Southeast Investor Group (Atlanta, Georgia): (SEIG) is a unique collaborative membership, created in 1995 and composed of partners from 20 Venture Capital Funds, two Corporate Venture Funds, and 10 high net-worth individual investors, and family offices. SEIG invests in growth stage tech-based companies.

Southern Capitol Ventures (Raleigh, North Carolina): Southern Capitol Ventures is an American venture capital firm funding technology companies in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

Southern Equity Ventures (Atlanta, Georgia): Southern Equity Ventures is a seed- and early-stage venture firm backed by USVI-based Southern Equity.

Lewis & Clark Ventures: An early stage venture firm managed by former founders and operators investing in late seed through Series A B2B companies. The firm is headquartered in Missouri but has one of its principals based in Atlanta. 

Lighter Capital: Lighter Capital provides tech entrepreneurs access to non-dilutive financing to help grow their companies without giving up equity, board seats, or personal guarantees. The firm’s funding size range from $50k – $4 million into startups within B2B SaaS, information technology services, or tech companies with sticky revenue.
