It’s not summer without a good ol’ fashioned adventure in the woods, right?

Spread the news, tell a friend, and start packing your gear because Summer Startup Academy is answering the call of the wild. You’re invited to join us on July 23 for Summer Startup Academy – Bonfire Edtion, which will be held during Start-Camp, an event produced by our friend, James Harris.

Gathering on the beautiful rolling grounds of The Inn at Serenbe, you’ll have the chance to spend the afternoon and evening hanging out with Atlanta startup leaders, Summer Startup Academy students & faculty, corporate innovators, and university folks. (Bring your tent and camping gear, if you want to spend the night.)

Tuesday, July 23
3:00 – 3:30 PM: Registration & Tent Setup

3:30 – 5:30 pm: Town Hall & Featured Talks
You’ll have a chance to voice your ideas on how to make Atlanta even better, while learning from the knowledge being dropped.

5:30 – 6:30 pm:  Hiking, Fishing, and Socializing
We’re in the woods, so put down your electronic devices and have some fun in Nature’s playground.

6:30 – 7:30 pm: Farm-to-Table Family-Style Dinner
Feast on the World Famous Fried Chicken and all the fixings you can imagine.

7:30 – 8:00 pm: S’mores Eating Contest and Other Tomfoolery
Let your food digest while playing some games and goofing around. One person will walk away the S’more Eating Contest Champion.

8:00 – Late Night: Campfire Conversations (unconference style)
Learn how Rob Kischuk hacked the Super Bowl to get Mark Cuban to invest. Hear Daniel Sims tell how he hiked the Appalachian Trial in five months and kept a website documenting the journey. Have a story to tell? Bring it!
Wednesday, July 24 (optional)

7:00 – 9:00 am: Breakfast Hike to Blue Eyed Daisy Bakery
Enjoy the many miles of hiking trails as we gather at Serenbe’s hot breakfast spot.

9:00 – 12 Noon: Relax and Unwind Before Departing
