Don’t Miss This | Graduate Class Demo Day

Students of the Tech Talent South Graduate Program have spent the last eight weeks riding the startup roller coaster, and it’s finally coming to a close with the ATL Graduate Class Demo Day.

Three teams of three have gone from idea to MVP and somehow survived. To celebrate, each group will present their class project, talk about their experiences within the program, and share what they’ve learned. Plus there will be drinks, snacks and networking.

About Tech Talent South:
With TTS’s core “Code Immersion Programs,” students are taken through an intensive but beginner-friendly 8-weeks learning a number of programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, Javascript, and AJAX. The goal? To go from beginner to being able to code and deploy dynamic web applications and to have a blast in the process. With networking opportunities, guest speakers, labs and company tours students are given ample opportunities to build valuable connections in the local tech community. With hundreds of alumni throughout the South, TTS has graduates working as developers, starting companies, pouring their hearts into local startups, publishing apps to the Apple app store, and more. By developing much-needed tech talent from the ground up, TTS believes that over time the value and impact of its programs will only continue to grow.

About the Graduate Program:
The Graduate Program is designed to give junior level developers and designers a portfolio building experience lead by an industry leader. Students are given an app idea project, then split into teams and tasked with organizing, planning, and executing app features culminating in a finished product presented at Demo Day. This course focuses on giving the students real-world experience in a guided, educational setting.
